We understand that your pets are like family, and it’s our top priority to make you feel comfortable with the care we provide them. To make sure all your questions are answered, we’ve included our FAQs below. If your question is not here please feel free to contact us in person.
DOES MY CAT NEED TO BE VACINATED?
Yes, all cats boarding at our cattery must have an up to date vaccination certificate/ card which you must bring each time you bring your cat to the cattery. We will retain the certificate/card during your cats stay with us. All cats should be regularly treated for fleas, ticks and worms and will be monitored throughout their stay, any administration of treatment will be chargeable unless previously supplied in advance.
MY PET HAS A SPECIAL DIET. CAN THEIR NEEDS BE ACCOMMODATED?
Yes we can accommodate their needs however you, the owner, will have to supply their specialised food/supplements at your own expense. We supply Whiskas/Felix pouches and Purina/Go-Cat dry foods as standard and in quantities as recommended. We can administer medication at no extra charge.
WHAT DO YOU SUPPLY FOR OVERNIGHT BOARDING?
We supply all feeding utensils, toiletries, bedding and toys but you are more than welcome to bring their own favourite items such as blankets etc. to make them feel at home. For our feline guests we also supply scratch posts and an external climbing tree within the run area for them to exercise with.
HOW CAN I CHECK ON MY PET DURING THEIR STAY?
You can email us anytime and we will respond at the earliest opportunity or you can phone but if doing so we respectfully ask that you consider any time differences if abroad and phone during our UK office hours only unless its an emergency.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PET BECOMES UNWELL DUE TO AN ILLNESS OR HAS AN ACCIDENT DURING THEIR STAY?
In the unfortunate case that your pet has an accident or becomes ill we shall take your pet to the Vets immediately and respond/react to their instructions. Any costs will be meet by you the owner, we shall endeavour to contact you for instructions on the treatment of your pet however if we cannot we shall act in the best interest of the pet. We strongly recommend that you have or take out pet insurance prior to any bookings. Any outstanding costs/fees must be settled prior to release of the pet.
ARE THE FACILITIES AT THE BRAMBLES PET HOTEL OPEN FOR VISITS/INSPECTION?
Yes, we appreciate you want your pet to have the best so we openly welcome visitors during working hours and by prior appointment.
WHAT ABOUT SECURITY AT THE BRAMBLES PET HOTEL?
The cattery and its associated runs have double self closing doors to prevent any escape route when transiting plus the main cattery door is security locked and the outside runs are padlocked 24/7. The site is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and entry into any of our facilities is only allowed when accompanied by a member of staff.
WHAT COVID RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE?
In accordance with current Government regulations.
CAN I BOOK A COLLECTION AND DELIVERY SERVICE?
Yes we have introduced a new collection/delivery service for our busy customers. if you need us to collect and/or deliver your pet we can do it during working hours (please book at least 24 hours in advance), see below for costs:
Collection service up to 10 miles of DG11 1JH = £15 and/or
Delivery Service up to 10 miles of DG11 1JH = £15
Additional mileage above 10 miles range each way = 50p/mile
Example: collection only 12 miles away from DG11 1JH = £15 + £2 (2 x 2 miles each way @ 50p/mile) TOTAL £17.
